A theory that you like to call fact. FACT: Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11. Osama did. Fact without context or argument. Simply stating this fact in isolation has no more meaning that saying "FACT: 2+2=4". FACT: Many sources have said Osama was at Tora Bora and we had him trapped there. Ask Geraldo who was there. FACT - Many sources saying something is so, does not mean it has to be so. In this case the "Osama was at Tora Bora" is likely. That is a simple matter that can be established as a fact or as not being true. "He was trapped there", is a statement that is more complex, and calls for evaluation not merely reporting a fact. Certainly he was never completly cut off with no avenues of escape so it is a stretch for anyone to say he was trapped there. The FACT is that any trap we had set up for him there was rather loose, with multiple avenues of escape. I've detailed that fact in previous post to you, but you don't acknowledge or try to counter it, you just repeat your talking points. On Thursday, US Vice President Dick CHENEY said he had "a pretty good idea" of where bin Laden was hiding, echoing comments by Central Intelligence Agency director Porter GOSS, who said he had an "excellent idea". Even "an excellent idea" does not mean that we know for certain, and that idea can be about a large area. Even if it wasn't just "an excellent idea" but rather certainty about a large hostile area, that doesn't mean that it is easy to find him. If an administration official says they are totally certain about his precise location let me know... Tim
