Global terrorism up 400% in the last year under Bush.

Maybe Al Qaida is too smart to risk its assets in the US when there are so many "easy" targets in their own part of the world. Ever thought of that? And why is a terrorist attack against Americans in Iraq or anywhere else any less terrible than an attack in the US?

Yes of course we are all much more vigilant here in the US, but most of that is huge expenditures on law enforcement and private security. That would take place under any president after 9-11. But look at what Bush is personally responsible for. Iraq and the use of Iraq by terrorists to recruit thousands of new suicide bombers and fighters and give them on the job training in Iraq. But Afghanistan getting more dangerous not less dangerous after Bush was supposed to have finished the job there. While Bin Lauden walks free four years after 9-11. Isn't something wrong with this picture?
