The fact that your interpretation of "all men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights" is different from hers is no reason to ask from where she got her interpretation. It's obvious she got it from the founding documents. You just need to read a little further.

I think that is the most likely meaning of "compact" that Ms. Coulter intended. In the bible it is always perfectly clear when God intends to enter into a covenant ... I don't think you can have a compact with God without God's active participation.

I think what probably happened is like many neocons, Ms. Coulter forgot that Israel and the U.S. are in fact two separate nations.
