Geez, that kind of racial caricature wouldn't fly here. And rightly so. Interesting - about half as many African slaves were inported into Mexico as were brought to the US. But where are the black Mexicans? Easier intermarriage may be part of the reason for their absence. The high death rate of slaves on Caribbean region plantations may be another. The slave populations weren't self-renewing there - most of each generation was simply worked to death.
