At the time, I thought we should have gone to war with Iran, although I've come to see the wisdom of Carter's reaction over time. Heck, I was so mad, I thought we should have NUKED Tehran and written the entire embassy staff off. All the hostages got back alive, at the cost of his Presidency. The man was a REAL Christian, true to his Christian beliefs - I'm still deciding if that's what we want for a President. Every one of those hostages owes Jimmy Carter their life.

Yeah, I would get us into yet another war, this time with Iran. Since our jobs are getting exported to China and India anyway, I would make all our kids join the military when they finish school (my own kids and other high-rannking Republicans' kids are exempted as always, of course).

And since Iran is about 3 times larger in area and population than Iraq, it will be 10 times messier than Iraq. And then to divert attention from Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran, I will turn my attention to Syria, keeping in mind that there's always Lebanon to fall back on after Syria becomes a mess as well.

Yeah, that is what I would do! ;-)
