Spending on U.S. construction projects fell by 0.9% in May, reversing economists' expectations of a 0.5% gain, the Commerce Department estimated Friday. Revised April construction spending also fell 1.1%, having been previously estimated to gain 0.5%. Private construction fell 1.6% in May and residential construction dropped 1.7%. Public construction, state and local and federal construction all posted gains in May, the department said.

I watched Kudlow yesterday, and he did present some charts on freight , rail and shipping activity that shows the goods moving sector is falling of a cliff.
