Kerry voted to give Shrub permission to go to war.
Spin it how you want.
Kerry voted for it.

Black and white. He enabled Shrub. Maybe because he wanted to be prez and didn't have the balls of Boxer to vote against it.

The Constitution states that Congress, not the President, has the sole power to declare war. That Kerry and Congress voted for a resolution authorizing the President to war was a violation of the oath of office.

No one "forced" Kerry to vote yes.

That Iraq vote was forced on Kerry and others and they had no choice other than to abstain. Instead, Kerry voted yes so long as Bush would keep his word to only invade as a last and necessary resort.
