Kerry could have dealt with the UN and French. Bush couldn't because none of them trusted him. Turns out they were right too. Bush lied about Iraq to the UN. Now he has almost no credibility at all.

To keep the rightwing base in tow, the Bushies started a huge anti-Euro propaganda campaign, ias they were at fault and the most corrupt. Actually it was the Bush neocons who were wrong and the most corrupt.
