Not true. Combat heros who survive are just as heroic.
You can't even be a combat hero unless you put yourself in harm's way and like Kerry did, go beyond the call of duty to rescue your brothers in arms and/or charge enemy positions.

Why do you think Bush-Rove felt the need to smear McCain, Kerry and Cleland, because they were all heros, unlike anyone in the Bushie neocon club.
