That's a rightwing myth that Osama was offered to Clinton. It never really happened. There was an offer made to a lower level US official in Yemen but it never went much further. It was all very shadowy and impossible to confirm or deny. The whole thing was blown up as "true" after 9-11 when Bushies wanted to cover up the fact that Bush had ignored Al Qaida for nine months even with the USS Cole bombing as his responsibility. When did that happen, 1999? Bush did nothing about it. And he was protecting the Saudis from the FBI. Better to blame it all on Clinton. In fact, CLinton did a lot to try and kill Osama. He just didn't succeed. Though he did stop the LAX bombing at least. Which is a big deal for me since I live 20 miles away from it. And what has Bush done in four years to kill Osama? very little. Seems he's given up. He said Osama was no big deal a few years ago. SAY WHAT? Bush wanted us to think Saddam was Osama. He didn't want us to worry about OSama anymore. But I'm still worried. Aren't you? Hey, what if Osama wins this war on terror? Not impossible.
