Suma, <Northampton is a beautiful place.> We lived on Elm Street right about four blocks from Smith. We thought we might live there forever but moved after a few years with a young company I had joined. Most of the ground pounders I knew were young 18 - 21. I was an old man in our unit (23) and had been drafted after college. The younger guys, particularly in the infantry who had a lot of contact weren't prepared emotionally for what happened to them. The fortunate ones can "handle" the experience but some never recover - it got to everyone...some were just luckier than others. I am sorry about your brother in law. Altair19
