Pete, I wouldn't be surprised if you won on the high side as flash might be doing better than expected and CPU's come in over $800 million...;>)

Pete, re: There should be some way for one to check his entry after the fact before its revealed. Oh well, I'll just let it ride.

There is a way for you to check - I send everyone a copy of their entry to the e-mail address they provided. Not to mention the little checkbox at the bottom of the entry form that says something to the effect of "please double check your entry cuz after this ya only get one revision"... ;)

[EDIT]You can also now check the raw entry page if you didn't receive an e-mail. Confirmation e-mails have been sent to everyone, but some did bounce, and I'm sure some may not have made it what with junk filters and the like...
Raw Entries page: epscontest.com
[/EDIT]

But all is not lost. You can simply correct it by revising if you so wish. You have to weigh if it is worth it to lose your bonus vs. correcting your entry. I think yours is a pretty clear case of warranting a revision, because unless AMD reports really high revenue (which is unlikely IMO but it has happened before) you'll have much higher error in that category than the bonus would offset.

So then it becomes a question of when do you revise. If you revise now you get in front of all the later entries, so you bonus goes up 0.01 for each entry after your revision. Not much, but something. But you also can't revise anymore after that. If you wait to revise until the last day or so, you will basically get no bonus, but you get to see the stock price action and other news up until that time.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

JJ

yes, your "other" did stick out in its magnitude when looking at the entries.
