If Bush tries to appoint a rightwinger "remember Schiavo" will be the clarion call across this land. Schiavo proved how dishonest the religious right are in terms of being at all rational or ethical about reality. Every major Schiavo grandstander will be voted out of office now, and the Bush's dropped about 9% in popularity afterward. The last thing we need is a religious right activist judge or some pro corporate pimp ruling against consumers and the environment. If Bush is smart he will appoint a moderate honest conservative whom everyone kind of likes, a Gerald Ford compromise type, a mediator.
