Good luck with the civil war thing. You won't be so brave in jail. Instead of talking tripe, get the Democrats to stop being such idiots when it comes to politics. You can win a lot of Republicans over by coming up with alternative solutions. Be big on energy conservation and invest heavily in hybrids, EVs, and NGVs, etc. Be willing to do something substantive to fix Social Security instead of denying that there is a problem. Be willing to pull out all the stops to rollback the corporate perks in today's healthcare package and reform it to be a better system. Talk about tax cuts that makes sense, like increasing the upper rates, but cutting the lower rates. Talk about how important it is for us to win in Iraq, but that we have to start giving the world community a voice in what goes on in there, as well as a bid on the reconstruction projects, so that they will be willing to help us. These are the things that moderate people want. If a Democrat can stop shouting at the 75% Christian nation that they want gay marriage and can leave smaller issues like that on the back burner for now, they might just have a chance at swaying just enough Republicans over to unseat these neocons. But crazy talk of civil war and nothing but hate talk of the Republicans will get the Democrats another 4 years of neocons. Because at the end of the day, people will vote for leaders with vision, not for pessimists with hate in their hearts.
