Constitution guarantees a right to the pursuit of happiness. Wrong! It does not make any reference to the pursuit of happiness. That phrase is used in the Declaration of Independence.

Wayne,

Ferchissakes man, you really need to take a course on the Constitution before you go firing off so half-cocked and misconstructed.

For example, you make the foolish statement: " The word privacy also does not appear, yet miracuously there is a Constitutional right to privacy."

This is the entire gist of the Fifth Amendment, which reads: "Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

For the past 220 years, this is the Amendment that has been used by hundreds of lawyers in thousands of cases involving the right to privacy for citizens.

I'm really appalled at the terrible job your right wing readings do at educating you about how the world really works.
