The religious right are not real Christians. They may speak in tongues and think they're serving Christ but they are not following Christ's teachings in terms of love, peace, compassion, helping the poor, tolerance, anti-materialism and being good stewards of God's creations.

They say they are for "life" but are allied with all the "death" industries, from polluters to gun manufacturers.

I believe the "pro-life" mentality is really just anti-sex. If anyone's having a wild old time out they aren't happy. Typically they are prudish lower middle-class types narrow views of the world, poor educations and superstitious lemming-like mentalities. Some of the rightwing churches also preach hatred and bigotry. Eric Rudolph grew up in a "church" like that.
