US voter turnout in presidential elections has only reached 62% once in 1962. Yes that's high voter tirnout even if it has dropped in Iran. Clearly more people participate in their elections. fairvote.org International Voter Turnout, 1991-2000 You don't get much lower than the US when it comes to voter participation. Their rules for being on the ballot are none of our business. bush is just dying to start dropping napalm and cluster bombs on the Iranians and he'll make any lame excuse, even lie as he's done repeatedly before.
