With luck, Rove will be spending his time hiding from the press and consulting with attorneys. Maybe this is why Hughes came back, to pick up the pieces since the prosecution in the Plame case wouldn't let go. The rightwing mantra appears to be: pick Gonzales as a social moderate. Is this a ploy? Make the alternatives of Rogers Brown or Owens appear so frightening that Gonzales gets a shoo-in. He then exposes himself as an ultra rightwinger and the Bork-Trio of Scalia-Thomas-Gonzales throws out the 100 precedents they don't personally like. It's back to the 1920's! You know, if these guys don't appreciate the US of A, why don't they just emigrate to Saudi Arabia or some other repressive police state where they would be more comfortable.
