That's because Blix was from Sweden, from old Europe and the very country, where the commies used to rule under Oluf Palme. Add to that, Blix's French is not bad at all! Then of course that little complication of half the UN officials being on Saddam's payroll may have added to the beef... Very credible people indeed. Aahhhh.....how you trash your own people. The Swedes tend to be the most honest people in the world and the US states where they migrated to in large numbers tend to have the cleanest and most progressive gov'ts. Hence, Blix was the only person I believed during that time. ted
