That's because Blix was from Sweden, from old Europe and the very country, where the commies used to rule under Oluf Palme.
Add to that, Blix's French is not bad at all!

Aahhhh.....how you trash your own people.

The Swedes tend to be the most honest people in the world and the US states where they migrated to in large numbers tend to have the cleanest and most progressive gov'ts. Hence, Blix was the only person I believed during that time.
