While some of the claims appear to have been sensationalized, there does appear to be some truth to the allegations. Any time you have paid informants their credibility is legitimately called into question. However, the Dr's own recorded comments seem to corroborate the allegations.

"The day before the hearing, on March 8, the investigative news show 20/20 had broadcast a program about the fetal tissue controversy. The show featured both Alberty and a pathologist from Opening Lines, Dr. Miles Jones, who was recorded by a hidden camera. Jones discussed making thousands of dollars a week selling fetal parts, and made other comments that seemed to imply the existence of a profitable trade in fetal tissue, such as that "market forces" drive the cost of fetal body parts.

Jones was subpoenaed to testify at the hearing but did not appear and was held in contempt of Congress."

Innocent people don't refuse to appear and explain themselves.

All of this does not change the fact that there is no legitimate medical reason to perform partial birth abortions. The practice is simply legal euthanasia for the physically and mentally handicapped. It is an abominable and sickening practice that should be outlawed.
