So you want to invade a nuclear power, and move in to a tough, relatively lawless area, to try and find one individual, who might get away anyway, and who possibly might not even be there? I thought you felt that too many Americans were dying in Iraq, you want more to die in the Hindu Kush? What do you think would be accomplished? Why are you so sure that we would get him, or that it would be worth thousands of American deaths to capture or kill him? It would be one thing if we knew exactly where he was and we could bomb it or drop a special forces team on it, but even if he is in the general area where most people think he is that is still tens of thousands of square miles. We didn't find Saddam by direct search, we found him when someone ratted him out. If someone rats out Osama, we will get him, or the Pakistanis will. If no one rats him out we probably don't get him.
