Wayne is confused because he only takes the shallow talkingpoints from his rightwing blogslog sources. It confuses him to find out that eminent domain is ancient AND that Bush made his millions by using it.

I find it confusing that conservatives supported the expansion of eminent domain for electric companies when it was proposed by Dick Cheney's energy task force of energy companies, now all of a sudden they've found "religion".

P.S. Perhaps the conservatives would feel better about the decision had the read the Wall Street Journal piece that indicated that the Bush Administration was considering filing an amicus brief supporting the city of New London.
