Could Egypt sending in 100k "peacekeeping" troops help Iraq? Cultural, religious implications?

I think an international, preferably Muslim peacekeeping force makes a lot more sense than a nearly 100% American peace keeping force. As for cultural and religious implications, I don't really know but would guess an Egyptian guy manning a checkpoint would be a lot less offensive than a Christian who's government strongly supports Israel.
