LB, I thought that was a pretty fairly-balanced portrayal of Howard Dean.

Although I disagree with him on most, but not all issues, I must say I found a lot to like and respect him for. He is apparently a tightwad fiscal conservative; he is his own man and doesn't care much what other people think of him; and he is in a small minority of politicians who tells-it-like-he-believes-it-is without regard to polls, his particular audience, or political correctness.

I actually like Dean. He tells it as he sees it. And some of the things he says that make people maddest are true. For example, the Republican party really is mostly a white, Christian party. We Republicans don't like it that way, it's not that we try to make it that way, but that's the way it is. It's changing, we're becoming more diverse, but it's still true.

Howard Dean.....a man described by his own brother as "radioactive," .....MOST interesting description, from someone who has known him personally since he was born.....
