Hi Hulago,

If you thought that "Sorrows of the The Empire" was a worthy read, then you will unquestionably find Larry Everest's "Oil, Power & Empire" to be a great accompaniment to Johnson's cri de couer.

tinyurl.com

Everest hits all the right notes.

For the timid conservative who is just getting around to understanding evil, American style, another book is timidly attacking the latest fashion for militarism:

Andrew Bacevich - "The New American Militarism"
tinyurl.com

Bacevich is far too kind to criminals running America today, and he knows it. He's a timid twit who may help to move some idiot conservatives out of the malevolent Bush camp.
