I'd say, given that Iran is the entire east coast of the Persian gulf, it gives our Navy more to think about than just the coastline.

Coastline? Which coastline?

The Navy has a lot more to worry about than they can handle. China perhaps being at the top of the list in the long run. But as bearshark has mentioned from time to time, we have a plan! Bush/Rummy are downsizing the Navy.
