The real question is what do we do about Musharraff? It looks like even having him as a friend doesn't solve our problems with the Pakistani people.

Remember........you lay done with dawgs, you get fleas. Musharraf is our good bud.........except he really isn't and Bush et al don't seem to know what to do about it. Frankly, I think the Bush administration has lost control and is simply reacting to problems rather than anticipating them. C. Rice running around the ME, admonishing everyone like a bad parent, is just one example.

The real question is what do we do about Afghanistan. The US can't afford for the insurgency to gain any of the virulence of the Iraqi insurgency. We don't have the soldier power.......and I doubt that our traditional allies will back us up by sending more people into Afghanistan. In a word, scheisse.
