I remember the "Rods from God". When I first told my wife about that one she accused me of making it up. Actually, I'm hoping I live to see America become a regional power as it should be instead of a world power Might be a healthy change. Painful, but healthy. Our being "the world's policeman" has cost us dearly, IMO. I think it's more our helpful CIA activities in covertly helping out thugs that comes back to bite us. Either the thug will stab you in the back or the people will overthrow the thug and take a few shots. We're pretty selective in policing the world and don't much care about places like Zimbabwe or Darfur. jttmab
