Most nations got started violently. Israel is no exception. Good point, but its hard to think of another nation that got started and kicked out most of the indigenous population, and then said a specific religious group of people from anywhere in the world can relocate and become citizens, while the recently evicted residents which are not in the specific religious group can't come back and become citizens, even if they own(ed) a home in the new country. My point is simply that approach to a country is anathema to the values of human equality and enshrined in the constitution.
