See that is what bothers me about mr. mark mandell the WIZ, he was a former nasdaq market maker and is very well studied in technical trading - I think he could recite all the best trading books and systems from memory easily - but he is selling all these dvd's and seminars on getting rich and it just reminds me of dan lupre and the rest.

Marc Mandel, the Wizard attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelors of Science in Economics degree. He was Senior Vice President of one of the largest Wall Street Investment Banking firms and has been active in the financial services industry since 1975. He co-founded the financial public relations firm, Boulder Financial Group. Currently he is Chairman and CEO of the Financial Services Company, Wall Street Radio.Net.

The Wiz is pretty down on wall street too though and thier tricks.

Phil hasn't went so far yet as to start selling dvd's, but it is probably just around the corner - does Bob Brinker try to sell anything like that?

HAHA, some friend sent me a copy of that rich dad poor dad audio and I listened to about 30 minutes of it - I sent it back to him and told him thanks. I see over on the real estate crash thread that someone was quoting him because he was predicting a housing crash this year. HAHA. Those hawaiians were great fun people - they didn't need money until we came over there. Pele and pineapple was it!

Real Estate is not EASY, it is work, but it can make you comfortable where a lot of other work won't.

Robert Kiyosaki: look closely at his copyright page ("Rich Kid, Poor Kid") and you will discover his books are fictionalized. Searches of records in areas where he claims to own a lot of real estate show only two properties in the Phoenix area. He also claims to hold substantial interests in numerous companies, but there do not appear to be any records to substantiate this. His book, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", though inspirational and great for getting people fired up, is full of misinformation, contradictions and even illegal suggestions. His "Poor Dad" (Ralph Kiyosaki) was not poor, and his "Rich Dad" appears to be a work of fiction. By all means, read his books if you need to get pumped for success. But don't try following too many of his ideas or you could land in trouble with the IRS or Justice Department.
