Should we await gloating from Tom Barnett? The Pentagon is being forced to move to the Leviathon/SysAdmin configuration. Iraq did it to them. And Tom is the "scribbler in the attic" that is pointing them toward the outcome. I doubt if there is anybody in the planning stage of this at the Pentagon that hasn't read his book. It is really great to watch his blueprint being implemented. You seldom see ideas go from start to fruition this quickly. It will be proven when those involved say, "we always knew what Tom is recommending, he just said it better." I am enjoying his blog comments about his life change. He has sold his home on the East coast and is moving to Indiana. He just signed the papers to have a house built there. He is near a "hub" so he can get anywhere in the country to give lectures while his family can get the heartland/Catholic upbringing he and his wife wants for them.
