Unfortunately I can't find the post to back it up, but it matters not. The point is that some people think Pearl Harbor was a conspiracy by FDR, just like Ray thinks 9/11 was a conspiracy by the Jews and the Bush administration. Both conspiracy theories are equally kooky, but hey, Ray wants us to believe one over the other just because he's supposedly smarter than any of us. I guess you don't know this but some GOPers of that time were opposed to going to war and accused FDR of staging the war. I don't remember the particulars or whether they claimed Pearl Harbor was staged but there was an undercurrent of complainting that existed all through WW II.....and most complaints were centered on FDR. Remember he had been president for 4 terms and the GOP was furious over that fact. It was after his presidency that they passed a bill limiting the president to two terms. In addition, there was more than one or two congresspeople who had some sympathy with the Germans......some Americans didn't see the Germans quite in the same vein as the Japanese. Hence, there were no German American internment camps. In fact, in MN and other states, sympathies for the Germans ran very high. So before you call Duray a kook, I would suggest you do some historical research........remember we were not always told the full truth while growing up. And while you're at it, you might want to explain why a whole vanload of Israelis were set up to film 9/11 when it happened...........and did. No one has ever explained that fact satisfactorily. ted
