Rove set up and framed Rather. How do I know? Look at the "Fortunate Son" case. Rove used the same trick. Waiting for the Bush-unfriendly report to start then WHAM! hit the writer with something Rove alone knew about which would discredit him. Rove actually wanted Rather to proceed up to a point then let Rather fell into his trap. Rather's people also report the flawed witness praying on his knees to Jesus. Rove frequently uses rightwing Christian nuts as his dirty tricks operatives. They were the ones he used to pass out fliers at churches in 2000 saying John McCain's adopted daughter was a "bastard child from a ni**ger whore". Rove is an evil genius. He loves setting up opponents and smearing them, and has no problem at all lying.
