Notably, the strongest opposition to ANY state funding of religion came from the Baptists. They were most successful in Virginia.


If the church can skip taxes that other property owners have to pay then they are getting funding from the state.

I think only people with a vested interest in the country should be allowed to vote, like land owners or better yet, you get one vote for every dollar in taxes you pay.
