"Tell me, had you been a member of the parish in the towns in Mass. where the priests molested young boys would have have been able to discern CHARACTER....??"

Thank God I was not a member or one of the boys. I can be conned and I was raised on the hand shake ethic too. I still believe in it. I wont do business with anyone who's handshake I don't trust...after that I make sure my camel is tied up and the paperwork is in order.

"...it's unfair to judge.. I think.

Human jugdment is a natural endowment, no less than inalienable rights. Employing sound judgement is an individual responsibility that requires diligence and even then frauds and liars sometimes win the day. Struggling to hold onto a foundation of principle upon which we may judge our circumstance is a noble cause, and one for which only your soul will do the accounting. Looking past all of clinton's flaws because he has a cute lower lip quiver is a basis for using less than sound judgement.

Sounds like Libya being on the Human Rights Commission of the UN. Or the Fox in the henhouse.
