This is all pretty funny, if you ask me. These dopes think they've nailed Rove with something and that forcing these reporters to testify (or getting their notes) will provide them with the smoking gun. The problem is, Rove has already authorized the Time reporter, Cooper, who he freely admits talking to, to testify about their conversations, releasing him from any journalistic obligation of confidentiality. And both Cooper and the NY Times reporter have already testified about other sources that gave the same release. Seems to me this implies they are protecting someone else besides Rove. Could be anyone, including Wilson or even Plame herself.
