If I thought all we were fighting for is oil, I'd be lining up right behind you in saying we need to get our people out of their asap. But I believe that some of the neocon agenda can have very positive long term benefits. Democracy in Iraq, for whatever reasons good or bad that the neocons want it, is still a very big and good thing.

Let me ask you. Say it wasn't about the oil and Iraq's strategic position in the ME. Say that it was because Bush and the neocons do care about freedom and the spread of democracy. When do you decide that an action taken like the invasion of Iraq is a bad idea? At what stage? What are the conditions or parameters that determine that position? Just curious.

Would the maps of Iraq's oilfields forced out of Dick Cheney's office by Judicial Watch be enough proof of bad intent on Oil Slick Dick's part?

After all, those maps were generated in early 2001, and clearly showed how Dick wanted to carve up his plunder.

How much proof do you need that Bush and Cheney are criminals?

It would be good if the neocons really wanted it, and could achieve it, but they don't and they can't.
