Did you READ the article JDN? When we charge (not very often) we VERY rarely punish. The chimp WANTS a gang of untouchable thugs operating in Iraq, and has refused to set up Status of Forces Agreements there and in Afghanistan so our troops are untouchable, out of the reach of justice. Our troops have the same protections Saddam's thugs had. Ours are viewed less favorably, since ours are FOREIGN INVADERS.

That's nonsense, American soldiers and sailors routinely get away with murder, manslaughter rape and robbery on foreign soil. One method commonly used is to simply fly the criminal out of the country on a military transport and thumb their nose at the local police. Just read The Sorrows of Empire : Militarism, Secrecy, and the End of the Republic by Chalmers Johnson for numerous examples:

Fix Was In For Bush and Dubai Company. Bush Appointed One Of Their executives to VIP ports job recently. Aiding and abetting the same country which harbored some of the 9-11 hijackers and refuses to recognize Israel. All part of some big secret Halliburton type oil deal I'm sure.

Folks, we are being ripped off royally by this crooked Bush administration. Time to throw all the bums out.

Limbaugh/Hannity do not back up what they say with evidence, at least not their incendiary highly partisan attacks.

Limbaugh and Hannity are propagandists. They are in the business of trying to trick good people into believing in myths. They intentionally leave out half the picture at least and try to find some detail, some line taken out of context, one way of looking at the prism which they then use to create the illusion that what they're saying is true.

For instance, they might say that John Kerry is weak on defense because he voted against the Midget Man Bomb or something like that. But they won't tell you Kerry also voted FOR the same weapon in a better, revised bill. Also, they just flat-out lie, a lot. Like every single day numerous times.

Almost every day on his show Al Franken plays Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Hannity radio statements and proves them to be total BS. It's illuminating. Franken on the other hand DOES back up what he says with facts and evidence, even though he too is admittedly partisan. So een if you don't like Franken you have to respect his integrity.

Big difference in general between the liberal and rightwing media. The liberals still value journalistic standards. The neocon right hates journalistic standards and prefers to bash our best newspapers then create their own pseudo-reality. Just look at the way they sold the Iraq War for instance. Or any of their programs. it's all propaganda.

New Poll: Bush 31% approval, 65% disapproval, lowest ever.

That "damn liberal" USA Today huh? So now we have the American people now rejecting Bush pro-corporate Republicanism by more than a 2-1 margin. This is worse than it was for Nixon when he resigned before being impeached.
