"The indictment, as I am told, will most likely be of felony weight. In fact, Karl Rove may be accused of perjury, as Bush's top strategist told a grand jury that he was not responsible for leaking Plame's identity to Time.

So the charge may not be for leaking top-secret information to the press, but for perjuring himself."


If he perjured himself or even if a strong case is presented suggesting that he did, he is through in Washington. I seriously doubt that he would ever be convicted of any crime related to the 'leak', but as always lying or attempting to cover up as a representative of the people is death to politicians.

My prediction: If the charge is perjury, so long Karl ... and it wont bode well for the Administration, unless they can do some damage control ahead of time.
