Anyone who wants to ignore the past record of Brinker is just diddling with themselves. Frankly, I can't believe any experienced investor would say something like "forget the past". It's a sign of immaturity and just a dumb thing to say. I think it's dumb for anyone to look for anything other than information from Bob or anyone else for that matter. Those who cling to something from years ago are really obsessed and better off getting a life. If you expected too much to begin with you set yourself up for disappointment. Take responsibility for your own decisions and get over it. As for Cramer, I listen to him every chance I get because he's entertaining and there is information there as well. I can't believe anyone with a brain would act solely on his recommendation.
