Thoughts about Plame's weak cover. Newspapers, with Republicrook nudging, have made a lot over the fact that Brewster Jennings was a shell co. without much of a cover story. Just a nice office in a prestige building with one person named as an owner in Dun and Bradstreet. Any foreign operative could penetrate that cover. Ha! During the internet bubble, millions of Americans put billions of dollars into cos. with just about the same amount of reality attached to them. Admittedly, most of the shell cos I've known about had deeper cover, but we are expecting less from cos. these days.
