Now you have switched to the POV that being a Christian makes it impossible for you to use the scientific method

For a good many Christians this is the case in certain fields, but not in others. For other Christians, it is not a problem at all.

And that it makes it impossible for you to be rational about politics.

No.

But I do expect beliefs to impact voting. In particular that is the only way I can account for the fact that Christians by & large, in particular, conservative Christians, are anti-environmental. It is because they reject common descent, and hence have a morality which is devoid of any (or much) moral consideration of the rest of life. Which BTW, is why one runs into the typical Christian confusion of labeling environmentalism a "religion".

And by implication, you should not be allowed to vote.

No, democracy lets anyone vote. But one might end up with governments that are not so nice. Same applies to Muslims BTW.
