Lucky for you, Matt Cooper and Judith Miller care about what's left of the First Amendment and the need for journalists to protect confidential sources, no matter how dirty the source's hands might be. Unlucky for them, the federal courts think freedom of the press does not include staying out of jail for doing your job. If you are one of these public officials who love to rail against the news media, you are also a hypocrite. Because now you are hiding behind the media's constitutional protections to escape accountability for endangering national security. That makes you a coward, a hypocrite and a criminal.
