It really explains to me why most engineers I know are Republicans :-) I have an MSEE from Stanford. What I find interesting in the creation/evolution debate is many of those on the creationist lecture circuit are engineers, physicists, & MD's. Very few biology PHds. Ecologists seem nonexistent. The problem with engineers & physicists are that they expect biology to be mathematically exact. If is way to variable & complex for that. The sort of data my wife lives with in her biological trials would drive me nuts in electrical engineering.
