and you could know this after death

I read a short story once where after you died you went to heaven. In heaven you lived your life backward, starting with the moment of death and progressing younger and younger. The idea is that you got a chance to redo all of your life's decisions. You knew though, that once you got back to your birth you entered oblivion for the final time.
