Don't believe what you read, Hurricane Dennis could go anywhere (including Tampa). So it's back to paranoid mode, stock up on water, batteries and stuff, get ready to remove all "missles" from the yard, throw the lawn furniture in the pool, make reservations (where they take dogs) out of harms way. Pain in the ass. Can't believe it's this early... the Gulf is almost 90 degrees, certainly ready to feed a major storm. And Dennis looks like a major storm.

This was mostly amusing until last year.

Just like LA until the Northridge quake of 1992. All the small rattlers in the years before seemed like conversation starters. Then bam! If the earth never moves under my feet again, it will be too soon.

Sorry to hear about the temps in the Gulf being so high so early. Any idea why?

Weather up here is screwed up as well. After three months of virtual sun during our rainy season this past winter, we have had 4 months of rain. Go figure!

I don't remember you mentioning you were psychic.
