Oakmont Acquisition Corp. completed its IPO on July 14, 2005, selling 8 million units at $6 per unit. The gross proceeds totaled $48 million, in line with the amount that the company was looking to raise when it filed its initial S-1 in early May. There is no word yet as to whether or not the underwriter has exercised its over-allotment option.

The securities are listed on the OTC Bulletin Board. The units (OMACU) closed the day at $6.00. The common stock (OMAC) and warrants (OMACW) are not yet trading.
