The Special Prosecuter law was abolished because both sides finally figured out that they had yielded their constituents' liberty to a potentially damaging and unaccountable process. The SP going after the criminal, Clinton, was on a noble mission-that the House ITSELF should have taken care of. If that proper procedure had been followed, the left wing Senate impeachment fix might not have been possible. Now the Bush administration has been improperly allowed to create an SP over a press leak. Fight the press leaks and fire anybody who breaks the rules. But abusing the criminal justice system on this matter is as damaging to America as using an SP to destroy Nixon when he couldn't be beaten at the polls...

I haven't figured that out either. Like any profession it has the best and worst of people, but the media is a dirty business. If they think they have a scoop they will ruin anyone's life in a heartbeat and run it on the front page. Then if it proves false, they will run a small retraction on 12c. Many of them are predators like the ones that killed Princess Diana. * * *
