listening to mayor of london, his remarks are setting the right tone powerful, best statement yet, imo standing firm against terrorism i have to admit i'm concerned the brits might pull a 'spain' but so far no evidence of that Pissing off one or the other of an allied US/UK works for a minimal bit, but historically, nobody's survived hitting both of them. the problem is,imo going after the terrorist cells (while necessary) is like herding cats....i've been convinced that the only way to 'win' is to hit the state sponsors hard enough that the muslim population will turn on the terrorists themselves iow, THEY have to pay a severe price, an unacceptable price for allowing the extremist jihadists to function in their midst while what you state is historically true...we are also in a new era whereby politically, non-state entities have the means to commit mass murder....suicide bombers being the WMD of choice, apparently they want asymmetrical warfare?? let's give it to them
