It also certainly doesn't allow anyone to know *absolutely* how he would rule on abortion matters... were he elevated to the highest Court, and able to push his OWN constitutional interpretations (instead of merely applying the interpretations the higher court handed down).

Probably Bush KNOWS very well what Gonzales' views are though... if they are as tight as Bush indicates.
